Semi-Submarine Underwater Tour Off Catalina Island

The Legendary "Yellow" Submarine Of Catalina Island.  Come Onboard The "Nautilus" 

Providing semi-submarine tours from Avalon, Catalina Island for over 30 years.  Catalina Adventure Tours provides guests the opportunity to view marine life of all types without being scuba certified.   Our yellow submarine named the “Nautilus” was custom built, state of the art, and includes large circular windows designed for viewing, spacious below cabin seating, and features a fish food feeding system launched by torpedo buttons so you can feed the fish from your seat (for an additional charge). This makes for the most amazing, up-close views of Catalina Island’s spectacular, colorful fish and local marine life. No aquarium can compare with this viewing in the wild.

Departing from the Green Pier in Avalon, tours are offered several times a day and travel to Lover’s Cove marine preserve just outside of Avalon. Water clarity can reach 60 feet or more and this marine reserve is a no take zone allowing fish and other marine life to thrive and grow quite large. Seasonal evening tours are also offered for viewing nocturnal sea creatures active only after darkusing our semi-sub’s custom lighting system to make the night turn into day!

Things to Know:

Participants must be able to transfer to vessel (walk 12 steps down to and up from seating area) 

For safety, you should be in good health and free from claustrophobia or anxiety symptoms, high blood pressure, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure
